how long does it last?
For most people typically one to two years before requiring a touch up.
Iām afrid of pain does it hurt?
Prior to and during the service I use a topical anesthetic to numb the area.
what should i avoid prior to my appointment?
Please avoid blood thinners, Aspirin, alcohol or using retinol creams/serums a week before your appointment. Additional avoidances 7 days prior include: excessive sun exposure and sun burn, hair removal services such as plucking, threading or waxing. No use of retinols, Retin-A, acids or anti-aging creams and serums.
48 hours prior do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary (Tylenol or Acetaminophen is okay)
24 hours prior to your appointment no alcohol or caffeine.
what is the timeline for healing?
Typically 30 days to completely heal. In the first week you will need to avoid getting your brows wet, this includes avoiding strenuous workouts, pools, saunas and any cosmetics on your eyebrows. During this time you may experience mild scabbing which is normal. I will go over the healing process with you before and after your service. After care instructions will be provided.
